Tour Overview

About this experience

This three-day private safari concentrates on Ol Pejeta Conservancy, allowing more time in one conservation landscape instead of rushing between parks. The route travels north from Nairobi through Kenya's central highlands to the Laikipia Plateau, where grasslands and riverine habitats support the Big Five, strong rhino populations and a wide range of predators and plains wildlife. Conservation-focused visits can be combined with ordinary game drives, making this an excellent short safari before or after a longer Kenya itinerary.

Your itinerary

Ol Pejeta Lunch and dinner

Leave Nairobi in the morning and travel north through the central highlands toward Laikipia. After check-in and lunch, begin your first conservancy drive, introducing the grasslands, woodland and riverine habitats while searching for rhino, elephant, buffalo, giraffe and predators.

Ol Pejeta Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Spend a full day inside the conservancy. Combine game drives with the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary and other conservation points that are open to visitors. Optional specialist activities such as lion tracking, night drives or closer conservation encounters can be requested in advance and added subject to space and fees.

Nairobi Breakfast and lunch

Head out early for a final wildlife circuit, when predators and rhinos may be active in cooler conditions. Return for breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi for your hotel or airport drop-off.
