A safari should feel personal long before you enter a park. Mianti Safaris was built around a simple idea: listen to the traveller, use local knowledge to shape the route, and keep the journey small enough to remain personal.
Where the story begins
From safari journeys and friendship to a more personal way of travelling.
The Mianti story grew from real safari experiences in Kenya and a shared belief that travellers deserve more than a standard route sold the same way to everyone.
At its centre is Naftali Muraguri, a Kenya-based guide and driver with a background in Tours & Travel and Tour Guiding Management. His experience, knowledge of nature and culture, and connection with travellers became the practical foundation of the Mianti approach.
The wider story has also been shaped by Ingrid de Graaf, Bauke Noordbruis and Margreet van Vossen, whose long connection with Naftali and Kenya helped turn that approach into Mianti Safaris.

Private travel in Mianti’s Toyota Land Cruiser.
Mianti’s own safari vehicle is designed for a small group, with four-wheel drive, a lifting roof for game viewing and guide communication in the field. Most importantly, it gives your travelling party its own space and rhythm.
