Open full Safari DesignerA safari should feel personal long before you enter a park. Mianti Safaris was built around a simple idea: listen to the traveller, use local knowledge to shape the route, and keep the journey small enough to remain personal.
The Mianti story grew from real safari experiences in Kenya and a shared belief that travellers deserve more than a standard route sold the same way to everyone.
At its centre is Naftali Muraguri, a Kenya-based guide and driver with a background in Tours & Travel and Tour Guiding Management. His experience, knowledge of nature and culture, and connection with travellers became the practical foundation of the Mianti approach.
The wider story has also been shaped by Ingrid de Graaf, Bauke Noordbruis and Margreet van Vossen, whose long connection with Naftali and Kenya helped turn that approach into Mianti Safaris.
Different backgrounds, one shared goal: make Kenya feel less like a package and more like your own journey.

Your timing, budget, interests and preferred destinations become the brief. The first proposal can then be refined with you.
We begin with the traveller rather than asking you to fit a fixed itinerary.
Private small-scale travel means you are not sharing your safari simply because there are empty seats to fill.
Distances, seasons, accommodation and experiences are balanced into one connected trip.
The proposal is adjusted with you, then availability and final rates are confirmed for the actual dates.
PRIVATE 4×4Mianti’s own safari vehicle is designed for a small group, with four-wheel drive, a lifting roof for game viewing and guide communication in the field. Most importantly, it gives your travelling party its own space and rhythm.
Explore the vehicle experienceOpen savannah, elephant country, Rift Valley lakes, culture, city life and the Indian Ocean coast can all become part of one carefully paced trip.
You do not need to arrive with a finished itinerary.
