Start early for soft light and mountain views. Explore elephant corridors, marsh-fed habitats and open plains with time for unhurried photography. Return to the lodge for a break at midday or remain out with a picnic, then continue later in the afternoon as wildlife becomes active again.
Leave Amboseli after breakfast and cross toward the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in the Naivasha area for a slower afternoon beside the freshwater lake. A boat excursion can be included in the confirmed package, offering a different perspective on hippos and birdlife, or the afternoon can be kept free for rest.
After breakfast, drive through Rift Valley landscapes and onward to the Maasai Mara. Settle into camp or lodge and, if arrival time permits, begin the Mara experience with a late-afternoon game drive searching for elephants, plains game and predators.
Dedicate a full day to the Mara. Your guide will adjust the route according to wildlife reports, season and your interests. Spend time around predator territories, large herbivore herds and river systems, with a picnic option allowing maximum time in the field.
Enjoy breakfast and, where the schedule allows, a brief final wildlife drive before leaving the Mara. Travel back to Nairobi for a hotel or airport drop-off, with timing planned around your onward arrangements.
